Important Information for Guitar Program at Iron Horse Elementary School

Proposed Schedule

Beginning level class - offered Tuesday mornings
The beginning class will focus on the beginning fundamentals including tuning, pedagogy, note reading, music theory.

Advanced level classes – offered Monday. and Wednesday mornings.

This class will be made available to students who participated previously, and/or students who can pass the beginning proficiency skills test.

The advanced class will focus on the next levels of guitar that will include enhanced theory, pedagogy, music theory, song and rhythm development.

Session Dates:

3rd session
January 23rd through March 22nd

4th session
April 2nd through May 18th

Session Fee:

Beginning Session: $100.00 per student
Advanced Session: $120.00 per student

***Instrument rental or purchase and material fee would be an additional charge

Session maximum: 15 students per class
