Malachi Sight and Sound is an Independent Open Winter Guard located in Colorado. We have been in existence since 2007 and have experienced two very successful seasons.  Our 2007 Show was: "Amazing Grace," featuring the music of Jars of Clay.  Our 2008 Show was: " A Beautiful Collision," featuring music by the David Crowder Band.
Our 2009 Show is: "The Winter," featuring Vivaldi's Winter Movements from the Four Seasons.

Malachi Sight and Sound is a division of and proudly sponsored by Inspire Creative, Inc.  We are members of RMCGA and WGI.  If you need contact info, please visit http://www.rmcga.org or http://www.wgi.org to procure that information.  If you want more information about Malachi Independent Winter Guard, you may visit their MySpace website: http://myspace.com/malachi_independentwg.

Our staff includes Jennifer Carrasco, Vickie Braga, Todd Carrasco, and Mike Braga.

Jennifer has been involved in color guard for 20 years and has been a member of the following ensembles: Pomona High School 90-94, Blue Knights 93-94, Speakeasy Independent, and St. Ann's World 99. Jen is responsible for writing the equipment book as well as teaching it and is Guard Caption Head for Malachi. She is also co-conceptual designer. When not "smacking wood" she is an amazing cook, photographer, and awesome mommy to Cayden, Duncan and Cael and is the most amazing and loving wife any one could ask for.

Vickie "Old School" Braga comes to Malachi having been involved in the activity longer than Todd or Jen have been alive. Vickie was a member and instructor of the Concord Blue Devils. We rely on Vickie's meticulous eye for cleaning our show as well as helping us fix design issues in our show. Mrs. Braga will be helping with conceptual design of our 09 show. Vickie has an extensive teaching resume and if you ask we'll tell you all about it. Vickie is a proud mom of Denielle and adoring wife of Mike! We are excited to have Vickie on staff.

Mike Braga is our trainer, dietician, motivator, and comedy relief. Mike was a member of the legendary Santa Clara Vanguard Cymbal Line and has as many years experience in the activity as his wife Vickie. If you want to hear a great story about the "good ole' days," learn how to do Cymbal tricks or hear about some great food, Mike's your man. Mike also helps with cleaning and performance and is highly responsible for creating the Corps De Sprit that exists in our group. We love Mike and are excited to have him on staff. Oh, and if you're good, he might just tell you about the legendary Fresno Ferns. Fictional? I guess you'll have to ask him.

Todd Carrasco is the Director, coffee runner, diaper changer, grumpy gills, fire putter outer, and tarp builder and painter as well as staging and conceptual designer. Todd has been involved in the marching world as member or teacher for well over 21 years. He has instructed, arranged, and designed for high schools in Colorado for the last 17 years. Todd finds himself stepping into the crazy yet beautiful world of Color Guard and is in his second year of directing Malachi. Marching experience includes Overland Marching Scots, Ponderosa Marching Mustangs, UNC Pride of the Rockies and a proud alumnus of The Casper Troopers. Todd is the proud Daddy of Cayden, Duncan and Cael. He is known for becoming crazy when drinking mass amounts of Mountain Dew and, from what we understand, thinks he knows how to do jazz runs. Pterodactyl ladies, pterodactyl.

If you are interested in being a part of our guard, get in touch with us. If you're looking for additional training to take back to your programs, contact us. We offer training throughout the year in body and equipment.

Come check us out this Winter and keep an eye out for Malachi Independent Percussion.
